2002 finished on a high note with a progressive dinner in the Gillen area. Thankyou to the hosts, Linda Ireland and Chris Martin, and to Annette and Trent Griffiths. A profit of $900 was made, which will be used to purchase more track & field equipment for our members. A big thanks also to Steve & Julie Sauerwald of Sportscene for donations of lucky draw prizes and to Noel Harris for donating massage vouchers.
Equipment Much needed updated field equipment was
purchased last year and the club is now able to purchase new javelins and shot
puts due to the success of our fundraising activities last year.
