WELCOME one and all to this the last and my second issue of your Newsletter for this year.

A forum for your input of news, views and comments of Mad Frogs activities in and around the track. And; those off the track if you so wish.

The farewell dinner held at Happy Garden was attended by about 15 members and partners. An enjoyable evening was had by all.

Congratulations to all the FROG entrants attending the Alice Springs Masters. A number of medals for Gold, Silver and Bronze were brought back to Darwin.

Tania HLAD is the proud owner of at least 7 Gold. Well done Tania.

Club Banner:

Members are invited to submit their ideas for a FROGS Club Banner.

Please put your artistic skills to an A4 Page and bring this with you to our 2003 Sign On Day and AGM; Sunday 8th March at 3.00pm onwards.

Include your idea on the material to be used for the Banner, Size and Colours etc.

New Members:

Several Darwin based competitors at the Alice Springs Masters sought information about our club, “MAD Frogs”. Perhaps in the new year we will see some new faces joining in with our activities.

Was it our new uniform that impressed them so?

Maybe, so much so; that Nola made a sale to a visiting Victorian athlete during the Alice Games.

Club uniform prices are at the base of Page 1. Have you bought yours yet? Please do so soon.

Unfortunately Elaine and Nola limped home from the events. Both are recovering

Leigh made the trip into Alice Springs Hospital to sample 48 hours of their hospitality. Surely a better choice of Hotel for his forced recovery could have been made.

Get well wishes from all the FROGS, Leigh.

Mature Athletes Darwin

Charlie Gadspy from New Guinea was a welcome addition to the ASMG Team. He was able to renew old friendships during his stay. We trust that he had an enjoyable time while back in the Territory.

It’s almost that time of year again as Christmas fast approaches. Don’t count but it is only about 6 weeks away and the New Year some 8 or so away.

The year has gone so fast and we wish everyone well and congratulate you on your efforts and participation. In particular the ASMG Results, considering our training sessions were greatly disrupted by the reconstruction works at the Mararra Track.

This is our last CROAKER for 2002. I wish you and yours a very Happy Christmas and healthy carefree New Year.

Nola
