Northern Territory Athletics will compete at the North Queensland Championships for the third consecutive year 24-26 September. The Team is open to all members aged 12 and up and selection is based on the prescribed qualifying standards.
The 2004 Team will again be making the journey to Townsville by coach leaving on Tuesday evening 21 September and returning to Darwin by the following Tuesday 28 September. This arduous type of travel is well offset by the benefits of team bonding and significantly reduced cost to team members.
In the previous two years the NT Team has enjoyed great success at the NQ Championships through the number of PB's and athletes achieving qualifiers for National All Schools. The NT has become a welcome addition at the event and enjoy excellent from our hosts in Townsville.
